The latest real estate data in northern NJ shows a very interesting trend. Average sale prices in luxury markets are increasing – in some cases substantially. Saddle River is showing a 22% increase over 2013 while Franklin Lakes is up 7%. This is in contrast to a 2% decrease in the average sale price across northwest Bergen County.

According to a new report by Redfin, sales of U.S. luxury homes of $1 million and more continued to outpace the rest of the housing market in Q3, 2014.
