How did New Jersey MLS home prices change last month?
Statistics for Dec. 2014 vs. 2013 show a significant increase in homes under contract and the number of home sales. The median sale price was down for single family homes but up for condos/coops/townhouses:
Entire NJMLS (all categories, all areas):
Solds +8.9%, Median Sale Price +1.4%,
Under Contracts +13.1%, Actives -3.3%,
Days on market -4.1%.
Single Family Homes (all areas):
Solds +8.5%, Median Sale Price -2.5%,
Under Contracts +10.1%, Actives +1.0%,
Days on market -6.5%.
Condo/Coop/Twh (all areas):
Solds +6.7%, Median Sale Price +4.9%,
Under Contracts +15.8%, Actives -5.0%,
Days on market -7.3%.
