While housing prices continued to climb in northern NJ, activity was down in March compared with March of last year. The harsh weather this past winter kept buyers at home in January and February. Open house counts, though, were up 30.1% from the previous year, showing signs of a strong April.
Median prices across all categories were up over the same period last year but down from February.
