A home is the most expensive thing you’ll probably ever purchase. Choose your home inspector carefully.

Recently I spoke with Mark Cafiero from Pinnacle Inspection Services about what to look for when you’re choosing your home inspector.

Once you’re in attorney review, you’ll want to speak with two or three inspectors to help you make your decision. You’ll want to verify availability, cost, license and insurance, and general personality. It’s also a good idea to ask an inspector for a sample of their report so you can see if it’s clear and comprehensive.

Mark Cafiero started as a home inspector in 1999. For sample of his style of inspection report, call (973) 283-4414.
