About Wyckoff, NJ
Wyckoff is one of Bergen County's least dense areas with a population of 16,980 over a land area of 6.6 miles. Increasingly popular for its open spaces and excellent schools, Wyckoff is a family-oriented community with a long history. Taxes are lower and property sizes generally larger than neighboring communities to the east. Notable areas within Wyckoff include Sicomac, between Route 208 and the Bergen County border, and Hartung, in Wyckoff's southwest corner next to Franklin Lakes. Within Wyckoff there are pockets of homes of similar styles, including bi-levels, ranches, split-levels and colonials. Dramatic new construction colonials can be found here on lots typically 1/2 to 1 acre. Wyckoff has a Park and Ride express bus station behind the Wyckoff Baptist Church at Wyckoff and Russell Avenues. Notable attractions include a popular YMCA and the James A. McFaul Environmental Center. Wyckoff has several modest shopping areas.
